The Background

From its very onset, the IGF have given rise to numerous diversified national and regional IGFs worldwide. The IGF process is a fruitful concept guided by which local multistakeholder communities now enjoy the opportunity to trade and ripe ideas that can consequently be incorporated in the global IGF’s agenda.

Regional IGFs have formed a nonpareil vehicle for discussions and cooperation and interaction pattern between public, private and non-profit organizations, and nations and provided a platform for the individual and the citizenry to engage themselves in a dialogue on an equal footing with more powerful entities.
